~love just is~
Unless you are a therapist, a spiritualist or someone who has completely understood the way this world revolves, there is a good chance you believe that you have understood ‘love’ but lack ways to easily articulate it. I don’t mean to down play you in any way but I wrote this especially to empower you with thoughts that have been around for generations and ways to explain what love truly is.
Many of us have associated ourselves with love but ever since our teen years we have misunderstood being ‘in love’ with the actual ‘true love’. We can recognize this when we tell our boy-friends or girl-friends that we’re ‘in love’ with them and when they are not around, we get upset; on occasions when they are with others, we compete for attention; and when they do something different from what we like, it troubles us. We even quantify love by saying ‘I love you more than you love me’. While this seems very cute in its own way, there is a big difference between what we express in the relationship and what love really is.
~the real difference~
We have not understood ‘love’ the way it really is but have experienced something called ‘in love’. ‘In Love’ is to receive love from the other person and is a dependence based relationship. In this relationship, we are attached to our own happiness but this happy feeling comes from another person’s presence. This is more obvious when they are not around us. We miss them and feel low. In truth we only miss them for the love that they give to us. By being dependent or attached in a relationship this way, we are setting ourselves up for pain. We resist any attempt to remove this dependence or attachment and we know how hurtful it is when we don’t get what we want from them (its an addiction). We innocently forget about what makes them happy and sometimes we act possessive taking away the space they need. Barely do we realize that these problems are within ourselves first; that we are deficit in some way and that their presence seems to complete us. These people that we depend on for happiness could be anyone, a boy or girlfriend, a best friend or even a role model. But while this may sound wrong or terrible, it really is not. In the real sense of the word, this is a stepping stone to understand how to be emotionally independent and how to truly love. Everyone walks this path.
When we truly love someone, we only give love, not expect to receive any. We accept the person for who he or she is. This is the same as the unconditional love we talk about between a mother and her child. There is never a reason; we just love. When the time and person is right, we feel it deep within ourselves and nothing known physically to us can ever explain it. True love or unconditional love is unconditional acceptance of a person no matter what their actions dictate; but it does not mean unconditional acceptance of their actions; just the person. Please don’t read only into that line, there is more. We know that people change and their actions evolve over time. We have faith in them because we see in them a ‘them’ that they themselves cannot see. It’s just a matter of time before they figure themselves out through the many good and bad things they do; and trust me, they will consciously do almost every thing that today’s society or you considers bad. However, Love, in a relationship, is accepting them for who they are while expecting them to be the best they can be for themselves; not for you. Loving them is never about you; its about them. When they want you to let go, let them go, let them grow; your part is done. If you are looking for someone to love you, just remember the quote by Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world” & like will attract like. When you learn to love unconditionally, only then you will easily attract another who will love you unconditionally.
~what love isn’t!~
Love isn’t detachment or attachment but a fine balance between the two and knowing when to do either. Love never has reasons; but reasons have love. Love isn’t dependence but freedom to grow. Love isn’t denial but acceptance of self and self emotions. Even hate is love; its someone who’s upset because they didn’t get the love they needed; they are just asking to be loved. Even Jealousy is love, someone wanting the source of love and happiness that you have.
However, due to haste, desperation or just bad sources of information, we remain confused and continue creating reasons for why we should love. Magazines, surveys or compatibility ads are main sources of our wealth of toxic information. Loving someone for a reason is not true love for the other person. Reasons are conditions which when satisfied makes us happy. It just shows that we are in love with that reason and not the person. When we love the reason or that condition, we indicate that we are loving ourselves instead and are trying to make ‘ourselves’ happy; not them. This is the same as making use of them to make us happy; but the reality is that we need to fill our own voids first before we can truly love someone else for who they are. It’s even more scary when we choose to love for a reason and then over time those reasons vanish; and we’d find ourselves hating that same very person. We know this when we use words like, ‘I loved the old you better’. But this is not the end of it all; it’s just one of those jump starts we need.
~how do I learn to truly love someone?~
It’s easier said than done. Learn to love yourself first without going outside for love. When you truly love yourself will you be able to truly love others. There are so many articles on-line that teach us to truly love ourselves. Here are two articles worth reading and two tracks worth listening to.
and finally India Arie with her track “Video” (You Tube)
and Whitney Houston with “The Greatest Love of All”
They all say one thing. We need to first accept ourselves for the way we are with all the flaws we have. No one is perfect, no one will ever be. Everyone starts from the bottom of the ladder to get to the top with respect to accepting themselves the way they are. Financially rich people face the same problems we do. Underneath all that perfection is always imperfection; behind all the glitz is misery that even money won’t solve. We all walk the same path and help is always there. The best part is that you don’t have to make any sacrifices in loving your self.
~on unconditional love and divorce in non violent relationships~
When we finally learn to love unconditionally, we are much more comfortable in our relationships and we easily accept our other halves as people who are struggling to understand themselves. When a need for a divorce occurs, it would be from their side as they battle to search for their source of true love. True love starts within ourselves and at home; but if a divorce helps, do what it takes to help yourself.
~What is sacrifice? Is it associated with giving up?~
Sacrifice truly means ‘to make sacred’. By giving up something you really want, you are instead only hurting yourself; you are not making any relationship sacred! Even though you may give something up for someone, it is not sacrifice unless you are truly happy inside and without resentment. Anything short of this is truly superficial. Its only after you learn how to truly love yourself, making sacrifices becomes so much easier and accurate to its definition. Let me explain.
Sacrifice is never about giving up happiness but gaining even more happiness for yourself by making others happy. When you unconditionally love others, seeing them happy is what truly makes you happy. If they find happiness in what you have and you truly love them, giving it to them is really easy when you know that your happiness comes from within you and no where else. Sacrifices becomes very simple and no different than a side effect of true love. Sacrifice always originates from self when self is ready and should never be imposed or expected of you.
~when should I not sacrifice?~
When you don’t want to!
The act of sacrifice has been glorified but it has lost its meaning over time and lately associated with giving up for a long term benefit. But there is never any long term benefit gained from performing it in guilt, greed or force. In most cases, follow your instinct; in some where it is confusing, its best to wait and let the passage of time convince you. Do whatever it takes to balance between keeping yourself happy and doing things to keep others happy. Wisdom doesn’t necessarily come from the elders; but in some cases guilt surely does; don’t let them ever guilt you or force you. Draw your boundaries and follow your heart. And for those who prefer to be associated with ‘logic’; follow your mind!
Love is to accept unconditionally!
I love you = I accept you unconditionally!
It is a choice.
I am in love with you = Will you accept me unconditionally?
P.S. “I love you” is “I love you to make you happy” and not “I love you to make me happy”;

Short answer first:
Spiritualists are way beyond self and hence self respect. This doesn’t mean that they don’t respect themselves. On the contrary, they highly do. The only difference is, they don’t do it the way regular people are seen doing it. Regular people like you and me are always hurt by certain actions of others especially loved ones. We get offended for the most part & take those actions personally. We then tell ourselves that no self respecting person will fall for this twice and hence do whatever is needed to protect ourselves from it happening again. This protection, the little firewall we build, is what we’d like to call self respect. I’m sure you recall this quote: Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
Spiritualists on the other hand, are not hurt by other’s actions, they instead understand that those actions are rooted within the confusion in that person itself. We act emotionally out of control while in confusion, we react defensively in confusion, and all we are really trying to do is sort out this confusion. Unfortunately, while we’re trying to figure out ourselves, others get offended or may judge us.
Spiritualists do not judge people. According to them, a person is not bad, only the action or reaction is. It is a result of them sorting confusion in the best way they know how. They understand these people only behave irrationally out of ignorance of a better way. Lessons in life eventually mature people to evolve out of such ignorance and negativity transforming them into calm rational individuals. Everyone changes on their own time and spiritualists respect them and their present limitations; the eventual outcome is apparent. This understanding stems from the quality of unconditional love and acceptance. As quoted by Mahatma Gandhi,
“Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.”
and now in detail…
Spiritualists were like you and me at some point in their past. However, today they have not only understood self, they have understood others and how the universe works. They focus on evolving everyone else in any which way possible (irrespective of time or action). If you think about it from a tainted point of view, Mahatma Gandhi and his non violent methods also lead to questions of self respect. In his time, we would think, ‘No self respecting man will let himself be humiliated like that’. A spiritualist instead says, ‘No self respecting man will do unto others as what he would not have done unto himself.’ It may takes years of getting humiliated before the oppressor realizes his act of oppression, hence the illusion of being humiliated did not go in vain. The humiliation is eventually seen in the oppressor through guilt and regret, which is a welcomed start to self evolution. One can attempt to see that the person causing you pain is only showing you your weak spots needing evolution; it’s never a personal attack; just an opportunity to learn within the bigger scheme of life. The point of this all is to learn what unconditional love really is.
Spiritualists have understood how to be self empowered. In a self empowerment workshop you can learn the reality that “no one can make you feel what you don’t want to without your permission” and when you feel pain towards an action performed by yourself or others, you are taught to rationalize and improve your emotional intelligence by either standing up to the adversary or gracefully absorbing the impact. When you realize that you can control the way you feel towards everything around you, you find yourself healing not only to your own self but even to others. Self Empowerment is the only start and solution to rational understanding of self and others.
~reincarnation principle in understanding self~
In a universe where we constantly re-incarnate to learn the lessons of life and self, the universe also gives materialistic power to those needing, wanting or obsessed by it. This is one positive answer towards understanding how some morally undeserving people climb ladders. The point of this universe is: Do what ever you need to do; take as much as time as you want to; we (universalists) are sure that you will evolve out of the confusion within your ego while you try to pursue true happiness. This behavior is clear in the pattern when we search for satisfaction in material, power, people etc. True satisfaction comes from understanding that material, power, people etc never contribute to happiness. Happiness comes through being in a state of absolutely no need and it comes from within. Incidentally, the only way we learn this is by trying to find happiness in material, people or power etc and each one of us has to go through the process of initiation spanning over lifetimes.
~What are the lessons that we need to learn over lifetimes?~
I would suggest a quick read on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs with regular cross reference to the different levels in Chakras. I used this search to pull results. Maslow, a psychologist whose findings very closely matched the chakra system, independently found this pattern and abstracted it to all humans. In this physical universe, we have 7 levels of initiation before we completely understand happiness. It starts at the lowest level in Maslow’s needs to the highest level of transcendence. The path is fixed for all participants and the growth spans over multiple lifetimes. More on this in a later write up.
~is there a quick how to solution?~
No; pain through experience is inevitable, but you can learn, understand and find true inner self through a process of learning what unconditional love is. There is plenty of text out on the internet to help you learn what unconditional love is and how to do it. Just remember that we are all conditioned. We’ve been taught to judge people from the very start to protect self. Barely do we realize that some of these rules for self protection are nothing but a double edged sword. While we continue to explore ourselves, our limits and life in all, in the fear of being judged, we hide our true selves from each other and even from self. This is the same as lying, even worse, lying to yourself.
~if I hold back pain longer, does it make me stronger?`~
Everyone has a break point and you will break eventually. The trick is to dissolve the pain instead of pushing back. Your strength is determined by your ability to understand pain and grow out if faster than you previously did. Just like a dam over capacity, we all have limits; the faster we let the water out, the lesser the chances of dam damage. Let go and let live!
~in pursuit of happiness~
If you do not believe in destiny, then you do not believe that you want to be happy. Happiness is your destination if that is where you naturally head out to or not. No matter what you do, your intent is happiness for yourself or others. For the smart asses who wish to oppose this view by saying, “I want to remain unhappy”, it is interesting to note that being unhappy makes them happy. Happiness is inescapable and so I welcome you to the destination of destiny.

The reality is, not everyone is spiritually awakened or aware of the highest purpose of self in life. As we continue mundane tasks on a daily basis without question, any attempt to resist dogma usually comes with the usual disapproval. However, for those that have managed to break free from monotony and dared to question with absolutely no fear, it will be to no surprise that answers are available. It’s easy to point out that skeptics still remain unaware of the matrix and constantly battle themselves to prove otherwise. Unfortunately they don’t realize that every battle fought is part of an inner war against acceptance of themselves.
The following terms bear similar meaning with reference to spiritual awakening:
Awakening, Awareness, Conscious, Rising of the Kundalini, Escaping the Matrix, Realization or Enlightenment.
Everyone’s experience of a spiritual awakening is different. Some talk about tingling sensations, some have visions, some fall into trance, some see signs, but it’s very normal when nothing happens except a surge to know more about yourself, life and eternal meaning. Spiritual awakening is nothing but knowing through your own experience that there is more to you and your association with the universal consciousness than you’ve been taught by dogma. This is a very personal experience and not everyone understands it. Also, the signs of awakening to me could be a regular itch in the butt for you. Everyone has a different experience altogether.
Also, check this article out; it has good details.
And as always in the words of Buddha,
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

a. Anything that helps de-stress and soothe the mind is considered therapeutic.
b. There is a fine line between therapeutic use and addiction. Addiction issues when recognized can be resolved using these forms of therapy as well.
Same as Chakra Therapy in a nutshell. Its also known as Harmonics Energy Balance. Therapists use a concepts in Chakra therapy to heal. The basic principles are the same but with a different name. Read on Chakra Therapy in this post.
In the first part I mentioned that our astral / emotional body is attached to our physical body at various points along its length. These points have various names as chakras, pressure points, vortexes, psychic centers, meridians, energy centers, etc. Acupressure is associated with applying physical pressure to these points and transferring emotional energy, chi or prana through fingers unblocking the blocked chakra. Hands are considered healing agents in every form of physical contact therapy. Pressure points are gateways that channel healing energies to the main chakras. You would need to understand the concept of chakras before this entirely makes sense. Try this link healing.about.com for some basic clarity on chakras.
This is very similar to acupressure; the only difference being the use of pricks via pins or needles at the same points. This is also called Meridian Healing. Medicine.net has a great FAQ on this subject.
Its the therapy where the use of scents from essential oils are used to heal certain common ailments. This educational site offers some great information on some more basics and is worth a quick glance.
Healing through Astral Projection or Astral Travel usually works by just understanding the experience of the non physical universe. The other term for it is ‘Out of body experience’ or soul travel. This is the phenomenon of your soul or mind leaving your body. Some use Astral Projection to perform a Past Life Memory investigation which can be very healing. It helps to understand how one may suffer certain trying disorders in spite of medication. For the most part, it helps with building confidence in the greater purpose of life and karma.
Auric Healing (Aura Healing):
Auras are created by the energies from each chakra. The strength of an aura reflects the emotional IQ of the person. Better the Aura, better the E-IQ. The basic principles for healing are the same as Chakra Therapy. Read on Chakra Therapy in this post.
Chakra Therapy (Chakra Balancing):
If you have read about chakras from part 1 of this post, you would understand that the mental or astral body has 7 chakras along the length of a person’s physical body. Each of these 7 points are associated with emotional and physiological illness that represents a physical organ or gland. Before a physical illness appears, an emotional illness is considered to be the cause of the fall in bodily defenses. Chakra therapy is the foundation of every other therapy. Further information can be found from the combination of both these sites Astral Mate & The School of Tantra. On a another note, there is a correlation between Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and The Chakra System (highlighted by Norwick Gray).
Also called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, the focal point is tuning emotions and hence the outcome of thoughts. The targeted outcome is to change the way we think. Most therapists use this method to help clients empower themselves to solve their emotional issues. It goes by many names: Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Rational Behavior Therapy, Rational Living Therapy, Cognitive Therapy and Dialectic Behavior Therapy. The National Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists have a quick read on this subject. This form of therapy does not specifically aim at resolving physical illness.
The same as chakra therapy but using colors to heal. Certain colors tend to magnify certain emotions or the lack of it. By understanding the need for certain colors you understand personal issues that one faces and its physical consequence. Gemstones therapy is a subset of color therapy and color therapy is a subset of chakra therapy. For example, if your favorite color is blue, it indicates that you might have issues speaking up or being open and frank with people. Here’s a link to a chart in Chakra Therapy; each color representing physical ailments and emotional symptoms. Please refer to Chakra Therapy in this post for additional info.
Read on Gemstone Therapy in this post.
Read up on Chakra Therapy. Its the same base concept.
Please read up on Spirit Releasement Therapy in this post.
A form of therapy that is targeted to clear blockages in the 5th or throat chakra. The 5th chakra represents innermost creative expression. Expression can occur in any creative form; through writing, dance, vocals, music, painting, craft, sculpting, architecting, etc. The Wikipedia has great examples on this subject.
A process using healing properties of various natural foods to cure ailments. I dug out this site (natali.co.uk) that has an illness to food matches.
The concept of gemstone therapy arises from the theory of color therapy. Color therapy in turn associates its roots from Chakra therapy. This article clearly describes the roots of Gemstone Therapy. However, these forms of therapy creates dependencies on external objects; its best to resolve emotional issues associated with each unbalanced chakra to completely balance self.
The concepts in Gestalt Therapy served to evolve into NLP. See NLP in this post. More history here @ wikipedia.
Have you heard of a therapist who asks you to imagine lying on a beach. And from there on, he or she tells you to imagine a further sequence of steps as narrated by him/her? This is guided imagery. Visualizations that use the imagination to heal both mind and body. It boils down to restoring balance in every chakra using the third eye or 6th chakra (ajna). Since the obvious form of modality here is using the mind to heal, it brings focus to Chakra therapy as the base foundation for identifying symptoms, emotional causes and implementing fixes. Eupsychia has some good information on definitions and how-to.
Harmonics Energy Balancing:
Read up on Chakra Therapy. Its the same base concept.
A type of astral projection where one gets projected into a negative emotional area made of fear, hate, jealousy, anger and other remaining deadly sins. It is definitely not therapeutic. Read up on astral projection for more information on how projections can be therapeutic.
Energy Healing with Chi, Ruah, Prana:
Chi, Ruah or Prana refer to the same energy: ’emotions’. Since Chakra therapy is about healing using emotions, please refer to chakra therapy for details.
The use of twigs, leaves, flowers or the entire plant to create healing teas, soups, powders or just skin patches. Ancient Ayurvedic Medicine from India and Herbology in witchcraft are such forms of herbal therapy. Herb to disease matching can be found here (herbsandcures.com).
Just like the other forms of therapy, this form of therapy is targeted at the same emotional energy system in the body. The National Center for Complimentary Medicine has explained this concept pretty well. Homeopaths use the concept of ‘like attracts like’, which is the ‘Law of Attraction’.
Using hypnosis to heal mental and physical conditions. While most sites explain it as using alternate states of your consciousness to heal, these consciousness could be your own, or your Higher Self (spirit guides / guardian angels), or vampiric consciousness that linger from a previous incarnation. New age movements see this as your past consciousness (egos) or other vampiric consciousness creating blockages against self healing. By engaging these consciousnesses and walking through causations of their own emotional blockages, the emotional block in the client clears. As per chakra therapy, these forms of emotional blockages cause physical illnesses; and by clearing these, physical balance is eventually restored.
Watching natural serenity in pictures, photo slides or in person can have a very soothing effect on your mind. A combination of the sounds of nature, its panaromic views and the natural smell of the earth does relax one’s mind. This is achieved through slide shows as well. That’s all that this form of therapy is – a relaxation technique engaging the visual senses through color combinations and visualizations.
Any form of physical contact therapy aimed at relaxation through overall body massage falls under this category. The names & techniques are aplenty. A consolidated list can be obtained here at Wikipedia.
NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming):
Mostly used in Professional and Self success management, this self empowerment technique is a very high level and neutral form of therapy used to perform self analysis and self rectification. This is best for skeptics who do not wish to engage in understanding spiritual therapy as the core of every alternative therapy. This form of therapy is not designed to heal physical illnesses either. The best source for NLP info is NLP.com. However, if you have faced a road block after using NLP, I suggest investigating the spiritual aspects that form the core of this training.
Past Life Regression Healing (PLR):
This is hypnosis on ‘steroids’ (without the use of any steroids of course). If you haven’t familiarized yourself with the concepts of hypnotherapy in this post, please do before moving forward. PLR is consciously knowing that you have lived in previous lives hence using hypnosis or trance to go back into those lifetimes. The healing effect comes into play when one understands his or her karmic debts from a past life. Past life negative karma’s can cause emotional blockages in any or many of the 7 chakras. By understanding and overcoming these emotional blockages, one can heal the physical and mental self. A clear and simple read can be found here. The site HealPastlives.com is considered to be one of the best sites detailing Past Life Regression Healing.
Read up on Chakra Therapy. Its the same base concept.
Physical Fitness Form of Therapy:
A therapy involving Endorphin release through cardiovascular exercises. It may be assisted with weight training. I personally use the site exrx.net to learn and plan my routine.
This falls under Massage / Touch therapy and attempts chakra balancing by applying pressure only at end points – hands, feet or ears. Wikipedia hosts a great article on this subject.
Shamanic Healing (Shamans):
Healing through the knowledge of the village medicine men or tribal witch doctors. They use a variety of healing methods that include herbal therapy, soul retrieval (past life regression healing), gemstone therapy (color therapy using gemstones), exorcism (using hypnotherapy) and spirit assistance (assisting consciousness in the afterlife). In the true meaning of the word ‘shamans’, alternative therapists are shamans as well. Its just a broad term encompassing various forms of therapy.
Sound Therapy (Mantra Therapy):
This form of therapy is closely tied to Chakra Therapy where the 7 musical notes (or mantras or chanting) assist in healing various ailments. Try this site (elivia.com) for detailed information and downloadable music notes. On another note, any sound or music that puts your mind at ease comes under this form of therapy. Most musical tunes have all 7 notes. You don’t really need to buy any expensive relaxation CD that claims wonders. Other forms of sound therapy are listed here (biowaves.com). It also include binaural beats from Monroe’s Institute of Hemisync Research.
It is healing using Past Life Regression. Please read on PLR in this post. A great note on soul retrieval by another author can be found here.
Spirit Releasement Therapy (Spirit Intrusion):
Also known as exorcism, this therapy involves identifying spirit consciousnesses that affect your current life. Known mental illnesses associated with these are schizophrenia, personality or identity disorders. The intruding spirits are identified and confronted through hypnotherapy aided with concepts in past life regression. Shamanic healers or past life regressionists are known for healing this. I’ve had fairly good success with the help of psychics as well; although the information was a bit obscure and left for interpretation. With two schizophrenics in my family, I took my wife’s psychic help to identify the intruding spirits causing them pain.
The spirits that linger around are dissatisfied emotional remains of physical people from your previous lives or in some extreme cases ‘wandering spirits’ that may not be related directly to you. Wandering spirits are easier to release and this can be termed as spirit assistance ( I wrote about spirit assistance in one of my posts here.) However, releasing spirits from your past lives require a little more work; work mostly on your part. These spirits are normally upset with you for a reason unknown to you in this lifetime; past life regression gives great insight on this reason. In most cases, these spirits are past life egos of your own consciousness itself; i.e. unsatisfied version(s) of your previous life. Schizophrenics are one example of this. Their unsatisfied spirit of a previous life constantly intrude and try to quickly resolve what has remained as unfinished business before they had physically died then. In all cases they use negative ways to achieve this; these include hate, anger, pride, self denial, greed, jealousy or any form of an insecure belief. Then there are those affected with personality disorders like MPD or DID. These folks are usually involuntary spirit mediums who host other consciousness in their physical body without control or knowledge. The only way to release these spirits in these cases requires complete the karmic debt payback. The time frame can be as long as paying back house loan payments. Hang in there and seek help from past life regression hypnotherapists on what you may have done in your last life to undergo this pain.
It is just talking about your emotional issues. Please read up on Cognitive Therapy in this post. The definitions vary at various sites but if you look at all of it closely, you will find the commonality.
Therapy through taste has not yet been researched to a great extent. As stated, there are 6 tastes: sweet, bitter, sour, astringent, spicy hot & salty; this page talks about taste therapy and its association with healing.
Sex in general is the most commonly played sport among humans. I hope we all agree that in the mammal world alone, it is the common form of ‘physical’ evolution (excluding artificial means). Fortunately, sex assists in mental evolution as well. Tantric sex is exactly what this is all about; mental / spiritual evolution through sex (i.e. maturity through sex). During a tantric orgasm, emotional energy or chi / prana flows up your spine inducing a fulfilling effect; which is why some have chills right after or during orgasms. As the chi rises, it clears blockages in all chakras having a healing effect. It is a self transforming process with the aim to finally achieve the art of making love in its purest form. The sole intent evolves into pleasing the other by attending to their every sexual and emotional desire. At every age, tantric sex heals, vitalizes and rejuvenates mind and body. Discovery Health has a good 5 page article on techniques and effects. I highly recommend this read.

In 2006, I wanted to know all about these methods of spiritual healing. I didn’t know where to start and even though every text I read was helpful, I was a bit confused with the mass amounts of information on this subject. Over the past year, I put the pieces together and found out that a lot many of these have the same meaning. I finally realized that just like we have many cultures in many countries, we have many words for the same concepts. I will try to make sure that this read clarifies terms while you embark on your spiritual journey.
The following terms are synonyms and include every form of therapy that do not use conventional medical methods (allopathy):Alternative Healing, Alternative Medicine, Complimentary Medicine, Etheric Hygiene and Holistic Therapy
- Therapy induced via physical means by third party:
Acupressure, Acupuncture (or Meridian Healing), Homeopathy, Light Body Activation and Massage Therapy (or Touch Therapy), Reflexology & Tantric Sex (unforced sex)
- Self Therapy for the 5 Physical Senses and physical body:
Sound Therapy, Color Therapy, Landscape Therapy, Taste Therapy, Aroma therapy, Physical Fitness Therapy, Herbal Therapy and Yoga
- Therapy induced via third party person (friend, therapist, certified hypnotherapist, counselor or psychologist):
Cognitive Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, NLP, Expressive therapy, Guided Imagery (Therapeutic Imagery or Visualization), Hypnotherapy, Past Life Healing (or Past Life Regression), Shamanic Healing, Soul Retrieval, Spirit Releasement Therapy (or Exorcism) & Talk Therapy
- Therapy through Self Meditation:
AcuEnergetics (or Chakra Balancing, Chakra Therapy, Energy Balancing, Harmonics Energy Balance or Aura/Auric Healing), Helionic Therapy (or Astral projection, Ethereal projection, OBE – out of body experience, Hecatean Projection Therapy), Pranic Healing (or Ruah Healing, Healing through Chi)
- Therapeutic healing through object belief:

Just like you, I looked everywhere for simple logical answers and not opinions. After months of researching various resources and attending courses, I know I have the simplest answer. All skeptics call these sort of concepts as delusional, paredolia, hallucinatory, illusions, fantasy, dreams and imagination; but if you “believe” or “know” otherwise, here is a short, simple and concise definition.
A ghost or spirit is a mind without or outside a physical body. That’s it.
Spirits, apparitions, angels, psyche, ego, id and souls are the synonyms of the same.
My wife and I deal with these on a daily basis. We have assisted over 50 spirits move into the light or back to source. After 13 years of witnessing my wife’s psychic experience and mediumship, I have been able to completely understand and write about this. The text here is divided into multiple short easy reads.
Clairsentience: Heightened sense of knowing how you feel
Within the physical realm, these rituals do no actual good except soothe your mind into a belief that everything is fine. Its important to note that the end goal is peace of mind and this can be achieved even without rituals. The next time you run around warding off spirits with symbols of religion in your hand or screaming prayers, do remember that there are simpler ways to help them leave; ask spirit guides for assistance or channel to them with positive thoughts and persistent empathy. I just hope that spirit is not related to you from your past or present life. It would be really tough if you would have to pay karmic debts by constantly or unwillingly helping them.
They are related to you in some way and trying to talk to you
A past life or current life karma with them could need closure
To awaken your curiosity about the afterlife
To have you question traditional dogmas and doctrines
To have you question gaps in science itself
To have you question life in its biggest picture
To ask the really big questions!
There are plenty of reasons and you need to find that specific one.
